Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”) and Akdron Consultancy Pvt Ltd (“Company”, “we”, “us”), the operator of LookMyClass (“Service”).

By creating an account, purchasing credits, or using any feature of the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

LookMyClass is an AI-powered platform that enables users to generate multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and quizzes from text topics, PDF documents, and images. The Service operates on a credit-based model where users purchase credits to generate content using AI language models provided by OpenAI and Anthropic.

Core Features

• Text-based MCQ generation from user-specified topics and sub-topics
• PDF-based quiz generation from uploaded document content
• Image-based question generation using AI vision models
• Quiz management, sharing via public links, and attempt tracking
• Configurable difficulty levels, question counts, and AI model selection

Service Availability

We aim to provide continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, infrastructure issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service (16 in the European Economic Area)
• If you are under 18, you must have a parent or guardian's consent
• You must have the legal capacity to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction
• The Service is not available where prohibited by applicable law

Account Registration

You may register using an email address and password, or by signing in with your Google account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your password and not share account credentials
• Notify us immediately at legal@lookmyclass.com if you suspect unauthorised access
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
• Maintain only one active account per person

We reserve the right to refuse registration, suspend, or terminate any account at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms.

Email Verification

A verified email address is required to access the Service after registration. You must verify your email by clicking the link sent to you within 24 hours of registration. Unverified accounts cannot generate quizzes or purchase credits.

Credit System

Quiz generation requires credits. Credits are a pre-purchased balance denominated in Indian Rupees (INR) that are deducted from your account each time you successfully generate a quiz. The credit cost of each generation depends on the AI model selected, the number of questions requested, and the input mode (text, PDF, or image).

• Credit costs are displayed before each generation request and are non-negotiable
• Credits are deducted only upon successful quiz generation
• Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts
• Unused credits do not expire provided your account remains active
• We reserve the right to adjust credit pricing with 14 days' prior notice

Payments

Credit purchases are processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law. By completing a purchase you authorise us to charge the stated amount through Razorpay.

Taxes

You are responsible for all applicable taxes, duties, or charges arising from your use of the Service in your jurisdiction. Where we are required to collect GST or other taxes, these will be included in the displayed price at checkout.

Nature of AI Output

Questions and answers generated by the Service are produced by third-party AI models (OpenAI and Anthropic) and are probabilistic in nature. The AI may:

• Generate factually incorrect answer choices or mark wrong answers as correct
• Produce ambiguous questions that have more than one defensible correct answer
• Misinterpret or ignore portions of uploaded PDFs or images
• Generate content that does not accurately reflect the source material
• Exhibit bias, inconsistency, or cultural insensitivity in generated questions
• Fail to recognise or reproduce domain-specific technical accuracy

Your Responsibility to Review

You accept full responsibility for reviewing, editing, and approving all AI-generated content before it is used for any purpose, including but not limited to:

• Classroom assessments, examinations, or graded tests
• Corporate training programmes or professional certifications
• Public-facing quizzes or educational materials
• Content shared with students, employees, or other third parties

We strongly recommend treating AI-generated content as a first draft that requires expert review. We accept no liability for harm arising from unreviewed use of generated content.

Input Content You Provide

When you upload a PDF, image, or provide a topic description, you represent and warrant that:

• You own the content or have all rights necessary to submit it for AI processing
• The content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
• The content does not contain personal data of third parties without appropriate consent
• The content is not illegal, harmful, defamatory, or in violation of these Terms

You acknowledge that your input content will be transmitted to OpenAI or Anthropic for processing as described in our Privacy Policy.

No Endorsement

LookMyClass does not review, endorse, or take responsibility for any AI-generated quiz content. The Service is a tool; the quality and accuracy of the output depends substantially on the quality of your input and the inherent limitations of AI models.

Your Content

You retain all intellectual property rights you hold in the input content you provide to the Service (topics, PDFs, images). By submitting content to generate quizzes, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process and transmit that content solely to fulfil your generation request. We do not claim ownership over your input content.

Generated Quiz Content

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AI-generated quiz questions and answers produced from your input are made available to you for your use. However, because AI-generated content may not qualify for copyright protection in all jurisdictions (as it lacks a human author), you accept this content “as-is” without any IP warranty from us.

You may use generated quizzes for personal, educational, and commercial purposes consistent with these Terms. You may not resell, sublicence, or represent AI-generated content as entirely your original human-authored work in contexts where that distinction is material.

LookMyClass Platform

All rights in the LookMyClass platform — including its software, design, trademarks, brand name, logo, and underlying technology — are owned by Akdron Consultancy Pvt Ltd. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the platform itself. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, scrape, or create derivative works from any part of the Service.

Feedback

If you submit suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use that feedback for any purpose without compensation to you.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the Service. Permitted uses include:

• Generating quizzes for personal study, classroom teaching, corporate training, or tutoring
• Sharing quizzes publicly via the provided share link feature
• Using generated content in educational materials, subject to your review and verification
• Accessing the Service via our official web interface or authorised API integrations

You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction, including those governing education, data protection, and intellectual property.

You must not:

• Use the Service to generate harmful, abusive, discriminatory, defamatory, or illegal content
• Submit content that infringes third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights without authorisation
• Upload content containing personal data of individuals without their consent or a lawful basis for processing
• Attempt to extract, scrape, or systematically download quiz content or platform data beyond normal use
• Use automated scripts, bots, or tools to interact with the Service unless expressly authorised in writing
• Attempt to circumvent credit controls, access other users' accounts, or exploit platform vulnerabilities
• Resell, sublicence, or commercially redistribute access to the Service without our prior written consent
• Use the Service in a way designed to game, manipulate, or misrepresent AI-generated exam outcomes for academic fraud
• Upload content that contains malware, viruses, or any code designed to harm our systems or other users
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any organisation
• Use the Service to facilitate cheating in formal examinations or assessments where AI assistance is prohibited

No Educational or Professional Warranty

LookMyClass is a productivity tool, not an accredited educational institution or examination body. We make no representation that AI-generated content meets any curriculum standard, examination board guideline, or professional qualification requirement.

AI Provider Dependency

The Service depends on third-party AI providers (OpenAI and Anthropic). We are not responsible for changes to their models, service availability, pricing, or policies that may affect the Service. In particular, AI model outputs may change over time without notice as providers update their systems.

“As-Is” Disclaimer

Accuracy of Generated Content

We expressly disclaim any warranty as to the factual accuracy, completeness, educational suitability, or fitness for any particular purpose of AI-generated quiz content. The use of such content in any formal assessment context is entirely at your own risk.

Cap on Liability

In no event shall our total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid us for credits in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the claim; or (b) ₹1,000 (Indian Rupees one thousand).

Essential Basis of the Bargain

The limitations of liability in this section reflect a reasonable allocation of risk between us and you and are a fundamental element of the basis of the agreement between us. The Service would not be provided without these limitations.

Exceptions

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain categories of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or any other liability that cannot be excluded by applicable law.

Indian users: Nothing in these Terms is intended to override mandatory consumer protections under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or the Information Technology Act, 2000.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Akdron Consultancy Pvt Ltd and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgements, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your use of the Service in a manner not authorised by these Terms
• Content you submit to the Service, including any claim that such content infringes a third party's rights
• Your use of AI-generated content in an educational, professional, or commercial context
• Any claim by a third party harmed by content generated through your account

Termination by You

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at legal@lookmyclass.com. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Unused credits are forfeited upon account deletion unless a refund is agreed upon.

Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have:

• Violated any provision of these Terms
• Engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Failed to pay amounts owed
• Created risk or possible legal exposure for us or other users

Upon termination by us for cause, unused credits are forfeited. We will not be liable to you for any losses resulting from a termination made in good faith under this section.

Effect of Termination

All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.

Informal Resolution

Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to first contact us at legal@lookmyclass.com and give us 30 days to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make reasonable efforts to address your concern during this period.

Arbitration (Optional)

Disputes that cannot be resolved informally may, upon mutual written agreement of both parties, be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India), with the seat of arbitration in Bengaluru, conducted in English.

Users outside India: Local mandatory consumer protection laws may give you additional rights. Nothing in this section removes those rights where they cannot be waived by agreement.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Send an email notification to your registered address at least 7 days before the changes take effect
• Display a notice within the Service where reasonably practicable

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service before the effective date.
